Descriptive RealityIt was like a small waterfall, or, more accurately, a spring, welling up from the stiff metal bars to her left, and shaking down the speckled gray mass of concrete to the damp, dewy grass. She was at that moment desperately trying to decide whether it was the color of sunsets and southwest caverns or of dried blood and the cold, indifferent brick at her back.  
 
She could see the source. The black, metal bars impaled the concrete, and from them this thick, oxidized growth, like dark orange ivy on an industrial tree. The rest spread its cracking fingers in sharp streaks which faded in places to evanescent ghosts, a slight maroon tin Descriptive Reality

Written by the shadowy, semi-existant  Beings who "have our best interests at heart"  The ones who plan out our futures  Through anti-drug ads and after-school specials,

CosmicThe macrocosm swallows evanescent fingers, travelling through hair of milky ways and galactic tangles. I can feel the movement of the involuntary parts of me, the heart I did not ask to beat, the eyes I did not ask to blink.  
 
I am lonely. The thing they don't tell you in the beginning, if they tell you anything, is that it's lonely out here. The cosmos is oblivion, really, a void which only becomes real by soaking up bits of you, swallowing you whole to bring itself into existence. But it's like multiplying by one; you are destroyed to become yourself.

We're Not the Crazy OnesI heard a report on CNN that said that up to 20% of all Americans are unbelievers, or rationalists! We are the minority in this country, but that doesn't mean we're wrong! The majority of the country would have you believe in organized religion, its false promises, and exaggerated claims. Losing ItI think I'm losing it.  I just wanna scream.  I'm tired of this shit.  Nothing is as it seems.   
I look into the mirror.  I hate what looks back.  The pain inside is horror.  I am broken upon the rack.   
I am worthless.  A useless pawn.  I am meaningless.  The dark is my dawn.   
I am covered in suffocating muck.  People are staring at me...  I don't give a fuck!  I know they hate what they see.

Happy Thanksgiving (ish)

Well, I'm sick, and it's Thanksgiving. The universe has some kinda sick sense of humor. Thus... Journal. Because my last entry was on Samhain. And it's been awhile. I know you've all missed me TERRIBLY. So I'm back.

I don't write enough anymore. I don't have time.

I despise school. I adore philosophy.

I have nothing to say. So I'm just going to keep talking until I do.

"If we have Mother Nature and Mother Earth, does that make the universe a lesbian?" --If you can give me a better quote than that, I will eat my keyboard. No lie.

I really want it to be Christmas break. As in, NOW.

I also really don't want to be sick right now. I'm bored, and there are really good smells coming from the kitchen. This sucks. I'm going to go read my nerdy philosophy/feminism books now. Good night.
